“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you” (Luke 10:19).
Some people yield to the power of the enemy in the form of evil influences, but Christ has given us the authority to defeat those influences. When we believe in our God-given authority, demonic spirits that oppose us are rendered harmless.
