“For unto us was the gospel preached, as well as unto them: but the word preached did not profit them, not being mixed with faith in them that heard it” (Hebrews 4:2).
God has presented everyone with the same truth and the same opportunity for salvation and eternal life, but not everyone will receive these gifts. He leaves it up to us to accept them by faith.
