The Spirit of God Knows What You Did Last Summer
By: Homero Santos

Everything you did last year in summer God knows, whether good or bad for there is nothing secret, but the Lord will help us correct the mistakes of the past. We will see below a passage from the Bible that shows us the story of Ananias and Sapphira, and we see how the Spirit of God is involved in their lives. To begin with we will see as they appear in the Bible as it was the early Christian Church.

Acts 5:1-3 (New International Version)

1 Now a man named Ananias, together with his wife Sapphira, also sold a piece of property. 2 With his wife’s full knowledge he kept back part of the money for himself, but brought the rest and put it at the apostles’ feet.
3 Then Peter said, "Ananias, how is it that Satan has so filled your heart that you have lied to the Holy Spirit and have kept for yourself some of the money you received for the land?

In the book of Acts we see how early Christians were preparing; also how some people claiming to be followers of Jesus really did not know God's purposes.

God knows everything we do, he knows what you did last summer and what you've done all your life, He knows everything we think but more importantly, he knows the reason why we do things and why we have done everything in our lives.

If He knows everything we do we must be careful in what we do. In the case of Ananias and Sapphira they wanted to pretend to be people who were faithful to God in everything, including the tithes and possessions, something that God does not like is hypocrisy; He knows who is acting hypocritically.

Ananias and Sapphira appeared before the whole Christian community as loyal and honorable, but the Spirit of God knows if somebody is laying, they paid the consequences and therefore we can now read this story to learn from their mistakes.

The Spirit of God knows what you did last summer and knows everything you do, all that we do God knows and nothing is hidden from Him, nothing is secret, but my friend if there's something you did last summer and is something that embarrasses you, you can ask God for forgiveness and be honest with Him to forgive you, the Holy Spirit knows your intentions.

The good news is that God wants to help you in your past mistakes, you just have to be honest with him and ask his forgiveness to get help, what God wants from us most is that you speak with a humble heart and to be sincere, and although God knows what you did last summer He also know that we are humans and we need His help to being true to his word.
I'm sure the Spirit of God knows what you did last summer and knows what we always do, click here http://spiritofgodnow.blogspot.com And visit so we can learn more about the work of the Spirit of God. Author: Homero. Christian bible teacher
