Coach Cobleigh began his career in 1975 at Ayer High in Ayer Massachusetts. He served as Head Track and assistant football Coach from 1975-1981. In Football Ayer went 50- 9 winning 3 conference titles and a Super Bowl title in 1980. Coach Cobleigh coached 3 NFL players at Ayer, Joe, Jamie and Larry Morris. The Ayer track and Field team won 6 Central Mass. Championships, 3 State Titles and a New England Championship in 1980 while going 80-2 in dual meets over a 6 year period. Coach Cobleigh went to Cocoa Florida as the Defensive coordinator and Athletic Director. After one year at Cocoa Coach Cobleigh went to Scotch Plains –Fanwood High School in NJ as the Offensive Coordinator and head Basketball coach. SPF basketball team improved to 19-8 and a State ¼ final appearance in 1985 the programs best record in 30 years. Coach Cobleigh took the Head Football position in 1986 and 3 years later won the NJ Section 2 State Championship, Scotch Plains first and only Football State title in 1990. Coach Cobleigh was the Newark Star Ledger and Elizabeth Daily Journal 3AA Coach of the Year. Coach Cobleigh became the Head Football Coach at Harrison High School in Kennesaw, Ga. Harrison was a new High School and Coach Cobleigh started the program from scratch. Harrison’s record from 1995 – 2007 was 117-35. That included a pair of 12 win seasons, making it to the title game in 2000, which was the fastest new school to get the State title game. Harrison also had nine seasons of at least nine victories and 11 play-off wins. Coach Cobleigh was Associated Press 5AAAAA Coach of the year in 2000. He was the Marietta Journal and Atlanta Journal Cobb County Coach of the Year in 2000,2001,2002 and 2006. Coach Cobleigh was also the Atlanta Football Official Coach of the Year in 2004. A master teacher as well Coach Cobleigh was the State of Georgia’s Physical Education Teacher of the Year in 2002 and the Harrison High school teacher of the Year in 2012 ( a tremendous honor)the only High school physical education teacher to win this award in a Cobb County High School.Coach Cobleigh is presently the Offensive coordinator at Roswell High School. He installed his new CFC Gun-Hybrid Offense going 8-4 and a 2nd round play-off game.
