About this Course

Imagine you could  of had the opportunity to visit with Coach John Wooden in his home. Now you can!  Sit down with me at Coach Wooden’s kitchen table and hear first hand his story. From humble beginnings on his family farm in Indiana, to the pinnacle of coaching success at UCLA. Coach Wooden shares his journey in a relaxed and candid manner. This is not a high-tech production, but rather a simply filmed 83-minute visit and one of the last home interviews that Coach Wooden granted. A portion of all sales benefits The Wooden Family.

Coach John Wooden (1910-2010) guided the UCLA Bruins to ten NCAA basketball championships over a twelve year period, including an eighty-eight game winning streak and four perfect seasons. He is one of three basketball hall-of-famers to be inducted as both a player and coach. Wooden was named ESPN’s “Greatest Coach of the Twentieth Century” and voted "#1 Coach of All Time” by The Sporting News. Sports Illustrated said it best: “There’s never been a finer man in American sports than John Wooden, or a finer coach.”
