SHIPPENSBURG, Pa. – Bowie State University women’s basketball got their season started on a positive note, defeating Lock Haven University 69-60 in the opening game of the Wolf’s Bus Lines Classic. Lady Bulldogs junior Ty-Nita Baker (Houston, Miss.) scored a game-high 22 points and added eight rebounds to lead Bowie State. Senior Donia Naylor (Washington, D.C.) picked up where she left off last season, recording a double-double of 14 points and 12 rebounds and junior Sheldeen Joseph (Belair St. Vincent and the Grenadines) contributed 10 points.
