Williams opened the second half with a triple for Millersville, making the score 44-35, but that was as close as the Marauders would get the rest of the way.

When asked about playing East Stroudsburg, a 92-72 winner over Lincoln in the nightcap, Brooks said, “We have to be prepared for pressure … They pressure the basketball for 40 minutes and our guards a going to have to be tough with the ball, be smart, attack when we have it and run our offense when we don’t attack … Their a relentless team defensively and we have to be prepared for that.”
The Bulldogs return to action on Saturday (November 15th) versus PSAC powerhouse East Stroudsburg University. Tip-off is set for 4 pmin The Lincoln University’s Manuel Rivero Hall.

Their ability to sink those free-throws down the stretch really made the difference and it counted and I'm excited about the win", said Bowie State Head Coach Renard Smith.

A competitive first half saw eight ties and eight different lead changes, resulting in an even, 31-31 score after 20 minutes of play.
The second half mirrored the first, as the two teams battled back-and-forth with neither able to gain a substantial advantage.

Bowie State rallied late, however.  With the game tied, 55-55 with 2:59 to play, the Bulldogs went on a, 14-5 run to secure the win.

The Lady Bulldogs play host Shippensburg at 6 pm Saturday (November 15th) to close out Bowie State’s participation in the Wolf’s Bus Lines Classic. Shippensburg dropped their season opener, falling 73-67 to Johnson C. Smith University.
