Todd White - Make Disciples of All Nations and Creating a New Church From The Ground Up

Creating a New Church From The Ground Up

  • Author Duane Marchi

When you are creating a new church from scratch, it's important to have a plan and to be consistent. A church is not about having a building; it's about having people with whom to come and share your beliefs, preferably in a regular setting. (Continued below....)

Todd White was a drug addict and atheist for 22 years. In 2004 he was radically and miraculously set free when a gun fired at him and he should have died but instead heard God speak to his heart, “I took that bullet for you, now are you ready to live for me?”

(...Continued.....)These are the thoughts from one who has been researching what it will take to start a New Church and how best it can be created. The intent is to get you thinking about Bible Study as a means to not only start a New Church but also how to expand an existing one.

Most of the early Churches started this way as there were no formal Church buildings in which to meet and hold services and that the teachers, disciples and other ministers were being persecuted in those early years.

PLAN AHEAD:

Have a vision for what you'd like to see happen in your group:

AFFINITY: What people hold in common has a way of attracting and bonding them together in a group. "Affinity" can motivate some people to join a group who would have otherwise not been interested in participating.

SHORT DURATION / HIGH FREQUENCY: Groups that launch with a shorter duration (4-6 weeks) and meet uninterrupted every week have a much greater chance of sticking together after their first season than those who don't. This combination of meeting logistics works well in the American culture. Furthermore, the weekly meeting frequency accelerates relationship-building and actually creates more time for people to get to know each other. This is because groups that meet bi-weekly or monthly find themselves allocating more time for members to "catch-up" before they can build off their previous group experience.

PICTORIAL PROMOTIONS:

When informing other about your new group, help people to construct mental pictures of what they can anticipate by "advertising" everything you just planned (affinity, vision, food, and childcare). The more questions you can answer up-front, the better. This also helps them to invite friends to join them who may not have any prior church or small-group experience.

"What is the single most important thing to bear in mind when leading small groups?"

1 answer is this:

"The key principle to keep in mind is that smaller groups offer a completely different means of 'doing church' compared to a congregational setting." Now, of course, both formats are needed. It's not either/or, but both/and. The point is that when we meet in small groups we should exploit the advantages they offer to the fullest. What is different between the two ways?

  1. We do them in a completely differently way. The style presented in a congregational meeting is mainly that those present are spectators. Whereas, the emphasis in a small group is that everyone gets to become a participator. This can best be summed up in the New Testament recurring phrase "one another". Every believer present is a recipient of the grace of God and therefore has something to share with the rest of the group. The body edifies itself in love (Eph.4:16).

  2. We also do things in groups which do not happen in a congregational setting. For example, discipleship. Small groups are the ideal setting for making disciples.

The New Testament clearly recognizes the need for both. In the book of Acts we often come across the two formats of church life in terms such as "in the temple" and "from house to house" (e.g. Acts 2:46&47; 5:42; 20:20). This is just part of the information needed for creating a new church from scratch. Please keep an eye out for the other article discussing the other ways.

The US High School Sports Show Featuring Olivia Stewart Ice Hockey Recruiting and Speed Training For Hockey

Effective Hockey Training Programs for Girls for Strength Building

  • Author Bill Burns

Hockey training programs that are meant for girls must be more intense so that girls get good training and build their stamina. Training for strength is important for a girl’s hockey team. It can be stronger and more effective if the right plan and way is selected for the training. When girls get Training for hockey they hardly do any intense workouts or strength training that builds their stamina. They focus more on the techniques that will make them win. These techniques when learnt are practiced numerous times for hours just to bring perfection. What the girls need more while training themselves for hockey without ice is a stamina build up that would make them go on for hours. In hockey, players have to make use of their speed. For this, they have to work hard to condition their pace and speed. But this requires a solid base without which the girls may fall weak in their performance.

Girls have to use the speed of their body appropriately during the game. They have to run fast and at the same time, balance their body when competing with the opposite team. This happens specially when there is one-on-one competition with the puck. The players have to run fast and for this they need enough strength to win the puck chasing part. Training for strength plays an important role here to help them give a good performance.

There are many concerns that disturb females while going for strength training. Basically these are myths which prevents the girls from getting a good training and conditioning their bodies.

• Strength Training doesn’t make you look like a man- Many girls think that they will become bulky after strength training. This is only a myth. Females have fewer fibers and they do not develop bulky muscles easily. Testosterone, the hormone found in a male body, is also responsible for muscle build up. Since this hormone is not present in females they don’t have any chance of getting muscular biceps or legs.

• Strength Training leads to injuries- It is not true. High intensity exercises are meant to improve your stamina. If you the right techniques and methods are followed during the workout there is no chance of getting injured. Hockey training programs need good coaches that are experienced in high intensity work outs. The injuries are cause only when the players follow the wrong method and then injure their muscles.

• Females don’t need strength training- Females need strength training equally as men. Training for hockey for girls does not involve high intensity exercises. This is because they think that girls can do without it. But it must be considered that when men needs strength training for hockey then why don’t women? There must be complete training for hockey whether it is for boys or for girls.

Training for strength does not always mean lavish equipments and gyms. It can be done on the ground itself or the workout room. Hockey training programs for girls need to be designed around strength or endurance training.

Bill Burns is the author of this article on Effective Hockey Training Programs for Girls for Strength Building. Find more information about Hockey training programs here.

The Untold Truth About Vaccines - Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, D.O. and Big Pharma vs. Natural Cures

Big Pharma vs. Natural Cures

  • Author Charles Elliot

NATURAL CURES VS. BIG PHARMA

No, I’m not a doctor. But I have spent years researching alternative products that can promote the prevention and healing of health issues. My research is not just theoretical or whatever I can find on the Internet. I have actually ingested countless supplements in an effort to find out what works and what doesn’t. (Continued below.....)

In this video, cancer researcher Ty Bollinger speaks with Dr. Sherri Tenpenny, vaccine expert, about the vaccine myths generations of people have been taught. The full interview with Dr. Tenpenny is part of the "The Quest For The Cures Continues" docu-series.

(Continued.....)For example, during the past 50 years, American people have been sold a bill of goods when it comes to cholesterol. Our bodies produce this substance, without which we could not live. Our obsession with cholesterol goes all the way back to the Framingham study which was flawed. Heart attacks and strokes were blamed squarely on cholesterol when the real culprit has been and continues to be chronic inflammation. But Big Pharma, sensing its chance to make billions of dollars, found a way to synthesize Red Yeast Rice, which they called Statins. Today, doctors have millions of people on statins, most of whom simply don’t need them. And the side effects can be nasty.

Instead, I concentrate on fighting chronic inflammation by using curcumin (which is the active ingredient in turmeric). Curcumin does wonders for your heart, brain, joints and digestive system. Most important, it fights the silent inflammation in your arteries which causes very small particles of cholesterol and calcium to stick to the walls of those arteries. (There is a test to determine if you even have those very small particles of cholesterol). Although few people have them, everyone should protect their arteries from chronic inflammation which can cause heart attacks and strokes by making sure to take two soft gets containing 1,330 mg of curcumin per day with meals, which, as I mentioned, is found in turmeric root extract.

For all of those individuals still doing as they’re told by taking statins, CoQ10 is a must. Keep in mind, CoQ10 is in every cell in our bodies. It is especially abundant in our hearts. CoQ10 is also the fuel that ignites the energy centers of our cells called mitochondria. Our energy, stamina and heart strength depend on significant levels of CoQ10. And to make the CoQ10 even more effective, add 20 mg of BioPerine Black Pepper Extract. Since we all lose more and more CoQ10 as we age, and since statins destroy CoQ10 (I bet your doctor didn’t tell you that crucial information when he handed you the prescription), taking CoQ10 is vital to protect our health.

If anyone is still worried about cholesterol, take the natural Red Yeast Rice supplement instead of the synthetic statins. And don’t forget to take curcumin and CoQ10 daily.

I am a lifelong student of natural vitamins and supplements. I have made a study of the natural cures vs. what we are told by the

pharmaceutical companies. I am a recognized lay authority in this field.

The StrengthCast PowerShow 10 Featuring: Simple Rules to Be Less Fat and What are the best ways to lose weight?

What are the best ways to lose weight?

  • Author Aubrey Walker

Losing weight is the purpose of many people when the New Year rolls around. However, after the arrival of February, there are many

who have given that objective for lost, since it is a battle in the medium and long term, and the results are not usually as fast as is usually thought. This usually happens because dieting is a mistake, and losing weight would imply a significant change in lifestyle, with diet being the basic pillar of this style. (Continued below....)

(Continued.....)The best ways to lose weight are given below:

  1. Drink water, especially before meals

Drinking water can speed up your metabolism by 24-30% over a 1 to 1.5 hour period, helping you burn off some extra calories.

One study showed that drinking half a liter of water an hour and a half before meals helped dieters lose 44% more weight.

  1. Eat eggs for breakfast

Eggs have many benefits, including helping you lose weight.

Replacing a cereal-based breakfast with eggs can lead to consuming fewer calories in the next 36 hours, losing weight and body fat.

And if eggs can't be eaten for some reason, any other quality protein source works too.

  1. Drink coffee (preferably black)

Coffee has sometimes been unfairly demonized.

When it's of good quality, it's packed with antioxidants and plenty of ways to support good health.

Caffeine can increase metabolism by 3-11% and fat elimination by 10-2% (6, 7).

Of course: you have to make sure not to add large amounts of sugar or other high-calorie ingredients since that would cancel all its benefits.

  1. Drink green tea

Green tea contains small amounts of caffeine, but it also includes powerful antioxidants called catechins, which are believed to work in synergy with caffeine to enhance the fat-burning effect.

Although the evidence is not entirely firm, many studies show that green tea (both the drink and the extract in supplement form) can help with weight loss (10, 11)

  1. Cooking with coconut oil

Coconut oil is very healthy.

It is high in medium-chain triglycerides, which are metabolized differently than other fats.

These triglycerides have been shown to raise your metabolism in a range of up to 120 calories a day and also reduce your appetite, which could end up consuming up to 256 fewer calories per day.

The idea is not, however, to add it to something that has already been cooked in a traditional way, but to replace some of the fats that are usually used in cooking with coconut oil.

  1. Take glucomannan

Glucomannan is a fiber that, in several scientific studies, has made research subjects lose weight.

It absorbs water and settles in the intestine for a time, making you feel more full and helping you consume fewer calories.

And people who take glucomannan supplements have been shown to lose slightly more weight than those who don't.

  1. Cut back on added sugars

Most people eat too much added sugar.

This consumption is strongly associated with the risk of obesity and diseases such as type 2 diabetes and heart problems.

If you want to lose weight, you need to cut back on added sugar and high fructose corn syrup.

And be sure to read food labels carefully, as many supposedly healthy products are sometimes full of sugar.

  1. Eat less refined carbohydrates

Refined carbohydrates are usually sugars or grains that have been stripped of their fibrous and nutritious parts.

Scientific studies show that refined carbohydrates can raise blood sugar quickly, leading to hunger and cravings, and increased food intake within hours.

Consuming them is strongly linked to obesity.

Thus, if carbohydrates are to be consumed, it is better to ensure that they are being consumed with their natural fiber included.

  1. Follow a low carb diet

Extensive research shows that sticking to a low-carbohydrate diet can help you lose two to three times more weight than a standard low-fat diet.

And, at the same time, it contributes to better health.

  1. Use smaller plates

Although it may sound impossible at first glance, it has been shown that using smaller plates often automatically leads to lower calorie consumption.

  1. Control portions or count calories

Anything that contributes to being aware of what you eat is useful.

Thus, controlling portion sizes or counting calories consumed may be a good idea, for obvious reasons.

Studies also show that keeping a food diary, writing down what you eat each day, or taking pictures of what you eat, can contribute to weight loss.

  1. Have healthy foods close by in case hunger strikes

Buying and having healthy foods on hand prevents you from resorting to harmful snacks for the diet.

Thus, it is ideal to resort to fruits, nuts, baby carrots, yogurt, or boiled eggs.

  1. Brush your teeth after dinner

Although there are no studies to support this, many recommend brushing your teeth immediately after dinner, which seems to prevent the temptation of a late-night snack.

  1. Eating spicy foods

Some spices, such as cayenne pepper, contain capsaicin, a component that can speed up metabolism and slightly reduce appetite.

  1. Do aerobic exercise

Aerobic exercises not only burn calories but contribute to better physical and mental health.

They appear to be especially effective for losing abdominal fat, which grows around the organs and causes metabolic problems.

  1. Lifting weights

One of the bad side effects of dieting is that it tends to promote muscle loss and a slowdown in metabolism.

And the best way to prevent this is to do some kind of resistance exercise, like lifting weights.

This can keep your metabolism high and prevent muscle loss.

  1. Eat more fiber

Fiber is usually recommended for weight loss.

Although the evidence is not conclusive, some research shows that fiber, especially viscose, increases satiety and helps with long-term weight management.

  1. Eat more vegetables and fruits

Both vegetables and fruits have properties that make them very effective for weight loss.

They contain very few calories, but a lot of fiber.

They are also rich in water, which gives them a low energy density.

Also, they take time to chew and provide satiety.

Several studies show that people who consume them tend to weigh less.

These foods are also very healthy and nutritious, which is why eating them is important for reasons other than losing pounds.

  1. Chew slower

It can take time for the brain to "register" that you've had enough to eat.

And some research shows that chewing slower helps you consume fewer calories and increase the production of hormones linked to weight loss.

  1. Sleep well

Sleep is sometimes ignored, but it is just as important as eating healthy and exercising.

Poor sleep is one of the main risk factors for obesity, linked to an 89% higher risk in children and a 55% higher risk in adults.

  1. Overcome food addictions

A study conducted on 196,211 individuals in 2014 found that 19.9% of people fell within the criteria for food addiction.

If you have powerful cravings and you can't control your diet no matter how hard you try, you may be facing a case of this addiction.

And the only thing that works is getting help.

Trying to lose weight without dealing with that problem first is almost impossible.

  1. Consume more protein

Following a high-protein diet has been shown to speed up your metabolism by 80 to 100 calories per day.

One study showed that converting to protein 25% of the calories consumed per day reduced obsessive thoughts about food by 60% while cutting nighttime cravings in half.

Thus, simply adding protein to the diet, without restricting anything, is one of the easiest and most effective (and delicious) ways to lose weight.

  1. Supplement with whey protein

If getting enough protein in your diet is difficult, taking a supplement can help.

The research found that replacing part of your calories with whey protein can lead to a weight loss of around 4 kilos while increasing lean muscle mass.

  1. Do not drink calories (soft drinks or fruit juices)

Sugar is bad, but in liquid form, it is even worse.

In fact, it is probably the most fattening part of the modern diet.

For example, one study showed that sugary drinks are associated with a 60% higher risk of obesity in children for each daily serving.

This also applies to fruit juices, which contain the same amount of sugar as soda.

You can consume the whole fruit, but it is best to avoid consuming the juice alone.

  1. Eat single ingredient foods

If you want to be slimmer and healthier, one of the best things to do is to eat natural, single-ingredient foods.

These foods are generally naturally satisfying, making it difficult to gain weight if the majority of your diet is based around them.

  1. Do not diet, but eat healthily

Most diets generally don't work in the long run.

In fact, studies show that dieting consistently predicts future weight gain.

Instead of dieting, it is better to aim to become healthier, fitter, and happier.

Focus on nourishing the body instead of depriving it of things.

Thus, weight loss will come as a natural side effect.

The Rock Almighty! Shaker Of Heaven and Earth. Featuring Degarmo & Key. And The Gift of Evangelism

 The Gift of Evangelism

  • Author Riley Stephenson

"Riley, I would love to do what you do, but I don’t have the gift of evangelism." The words came from a well-meaning Christian who was referring to my street ministry. At the time I was training people in evangelism at my church every Friday night. We were taking teams into the city and seeing fifty to one hundred people pray to receive Jesus every weekend. I told that man that he could do what I do—because he was a believer.

The Bible says, "And they went out and preached everywhere, while the Lord kept working with them and confirming the message by the attesting signs and miracles that closely accompanied [it]" (Mark 16:20, AMP). Amen. Signs and miracles will follow us as believers!

God has given certain gifts of service to us as believers. Take a look at them: "Now these are the gifts Christ gave to the church: the apostles, the prophets, the evangelists, and the pastors and teachers. Their responsibility is to equip God’s people to do his work and build up the church, the body of Christ" (see Ephesians 4:11–12, NLT).

The Bible tells us that these five-fold ministry gifts are for the "perfecting of the saints" to do the work of the ministry. Based on what we just read, the job of the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors and teachers is to teach, train and equip you as a congregation member to do the work of building up the body.

But there is no such gift called "the gift of evangelism" recorded in the Bible. It’s not your pastor’s job to fill the empty seats in your church. It’s not your pastor’s job to reach your city.

It’s yours.

Now, when I’m sent to a church to do evangelism training, I’m sent as an evangelist. But when I’m not standing in a pulpit under the office of an evangelist, and I’m simply going about my day, I’m constantly listening to the Lord as to who He wants me to minister to. The Lord speaks to us constantly; all we need to do is tune in a little closer so we can hear what our assignment is for the day.

My family and I recently went to lunch at a local Italian restaurant. The place had just opened, and we wanted to try it out. The waiter seated us and handed us the menus.

I was in one of those moods in which I didn’t want to even look at the menu; I just wanted to ask the waiter for a recommendation. When the waiter came to our table, my wife and daughters ordered from the menu. Then young man turned to me. "Sir," he asked, "what would you like?"

I asked him what he would recommend. Happy to oblige me, he pointed to a particular item on the menu and said to me, "Sir, if I was on death row and this was the last meal I would ever eat, this is what I would order." I was shocked by his comment about being on death row. But I knew at that point what the Lord was about to do. I ordered what the waiter had suggested, and it turned out to be an amazing dish.

When the waiter came back to the table for the check, I had another question for him: "If you were on death row and these were your last few moments to live, where do you think you’d spend eternity?" The young man looked down and told me, "I’m really not sure." I shared with him the Scriptures from Romans from the script our ministry uses. And then I led him in a prayer to receive Jesus. During the prayer our waiter began to cry, and as he lifted his head, he said, "Thank you so much. I was just thinking about my life. I know I need God." My family and I got ready to leave, and the waiter stopped by our table one more time. "I believe God sent you here," he said.

God wants to use you today! Be bold and courageous! You don’t need to have a five fold ministerial calling with a "gift" in order to see miracles and signs following. All you need do is listen to the little promptings you get every day from the Lord—and then be obedient!

Riley Stephenson is the author of "I Sent You to Reap" and "It’s All About the Numbers". Both books will help you to enlarge your heart and extend love and compassion for the lost. http://rileystephenson.com

Merry Heart: Was Jesus Insane? Ha-He-He-He! And THE LINK BETWEEN OUR BELIEFS AND OUR WORKS

THE LINK BETWEEN OUR BELIEFS AND OUR

WORKS

Sometimes, the best way to demonstrate what we say we believe is by taking action. Belief that’s strong enough mobilizes us. This is how we show that our faith is genuine. The world uses phrases like, “Actions speak louder than words” and “Talk is cheap;” God gives us the same message, although He words it a bit differently.

It takes courage to step out in faith, but God provides us with the ability to do that. It does us no good to say we have faith if we don’t follow it up with works. Faith without works is dead. Most people don’t understand acts of faith; however, as Christians, having a solid grasp of this spiritual principle allows us to live successfully.

Under the Law of Moses, faith wasn’t necessary, only works. Although we’re now living under grace, we still see the same mindset today. We’re certainly justified by our faith in Christ, without the deeds of the law. However, those around us will never understand the power of our faith unless we do something tangible to make it evident and real to them. (Continued below.......)

The Merry Heart Doeth Good Like a Medicine series is the perfect way to introduce your family and friends to the joy of knowing Jesus. Each volume is filled with humorous and heart-touching sermon illustrations that everyone will enjoy. Information: visit www.jdm.org

(....Continued.....)All throughout the Bible, we see examples of how faith inspired action. Noah built the ark in faith; Abraham set out on a long journey in faith; Moses led the children of Israel through the wilderness by faith. Others also did extraordinary deeds because their faith gave them the courage to act.

Faith is needed, first, in order to persevere in anything; doing something we don’t believe in won’t last long. Spending time with Jesus, the way the apostles did, builds up our faith. Paul’s encounter with Jesus after His death and resurrection inspired such a strong faith in Paul that he immediately began preaching the Gospel of Grace and willingly endured much persecution. By themselves, empty works don’t amount to anything—only when motivated by authentic faith do they take on any real power.

Prayer:

Father God, thank You for teaching us about how our faith inspires our works. Your Word clarifies the link between what we believe and what we do. We’re grateful for this. In Jesus’ name, amen.

Scriptures:

James 2:14, 17, 18, 20, 24, 26

Romans 3:28

Hebrews 11:7-9, 17-38

Acts 9:3-20

(....Continued......) Accept the kid as he is

Many parents have dreams for their kids, but it is better to allow the kids to choose their own paths. The path chosen by the kid may differ from what you desire or expect as a parent. No matter how different the kid’s plans and opinion are about the future, you must be ready to accept him as he is and help him to nurture his positive dreams and goals. At times, it is not about what the society tells you or what you think that matters, but what the child wants to do or become. Do not compare your kid to another kid next door or your friends’ child. For all you know, the kid next door became what he has become because his parents allowed him to be himself instead of forcing their own perceived ideas on his poor, naïve and helpless mind.

Take time to observe

At times, the best way to identify the hidden talent in that kid is to watch him closely and allow events to unfold. Do not be too quick to sign him up for a football coaching class. Why not allow him to show traces of love for football first? Because you failed in your bid to win a gold medal at the Olympics does not mean you must force your daughter to get involved in sports and feature at the Olympics.

Instead of forcing the kid to tow your desired line, just sit back and be alert to possible signs of a career choice in him.

If your kid is always in the backyard kicking or playing with balls, or frequently drawing Craypas, this may indicate a possible interest in soccer. If your son loves to always bury his head in books or in the habit of building roads and castles with blocks, then you may have a building engineer on your hands. Do you find the child always counting objects, testing his math skills or finding patterns, then you may be grooming a mathematician or even another Albert Einstein right there in your home!

When you notice any of the behaviors above, you should buy supplies and materials that can help the child to groom his dreams and explore his interests further. You can go a step further by registering the child in an institution, class or organization that can help him to develop his dreams and goals in life. Membership of these organizations or attendance in such related classes can help determine if the child is interested in that particular area and also help him to get better at what he does.

Set him free

Allow your child to explore freely, and this can indicate what the child wants to do. Do not engage any trial and error method in discovering the interest of the child. Instead, set him free and let his behaviors determine what his talent is. Your kid will stumble upon his interests during exploration. Give the child ample downtime, and he can successfully develop a sense of wonder. It will leave him to decide for himself what he wants to do.

Do not expect too much

Not every child can start playing the violin like an expert from age four. Maybe the boy next door could pull off that stunt, it gives no excuse to expect the same from your kid. Research shows that kids only start reflecting developmentally on their future when they are in the middle school year. So expecting too much from your kid at a very tender age may yield no good fruit. Before the kid attains middle school years, allow him to explore all possible options, which will help him to make informed decisions about what he wants to do in the future. He can pick out his interest among the various activities you allowed him to engage in.

Foster a growth mindset

Your kids are more likely to try new things and take risks when they have a growth mindset. As a result, they can open themselves up to various possibilities of discovering that particular thing they are passionate about.

Conclusion

Parents should allow their kids to explore and discover their interests by themselves, but there are times the parent may have to give the child a push. A parent needs the discretion to know what to do at any particular time. The parent may have to give a push when the child seems to be giving up on a dream he had earlier developed a genuine passion for. Parents will be better guides for their kids if they are knowledgeable about what to do and when to do it.

Strengthen Your Core Through Yoga

  • Author Yogi Vishnu Panigharhi

Yoga is an amazing way to lose weight or belly fat. In all of the postures, if done correctly, you are activating your entire body and strengthening your core. Most of the postures massage or stimulate your digestive system, which helps to increase the removal and waste in toxins from the body.

Yoga is part of a holistic approach to your well-being meaning that this is achieved through a proper and balanced diet, physical exercise, and breathing as well as meditation techniques.

Now, the physical part of yoga by itself is not enough to help you lose weight and trim belly fat. What you put into your body is just as important as what happens on the outside. Try to not eat processed foods, genetically modified foods or anything with high amounts of sodium or sugar. Treat your body as a sacred temple. The best types of foods to put into that sacred temple are wholesome grains, fresh, live organic fruits and vegetables, and plenty of water to stay hydrated. There are some gentle twisting postures which helps you increase your metabolism and move the digestion process forward. When you bring your knees into the belly, you are giving your ascending colon a gentle massage.

Practicing yoga will help you eliminate stress and anxiety, which are major causes of unhealthy eating and influence people to either overeat or choose non-nutritious foods.

If you practice regularly, you will absolutely be able to see a difference in your body, giving it a tighter and more youthful appearance. By sweating, all of the accumulated toxins in your body are released in a natural and healthy way.

If your desire is weight loss, choosing more dynamic, faster-paced classes such as Vinyasa Flow or Ashtanga would be perfect for you. Surya Namaskar is a great set of asanas for building up core strength. Doing plank and side plank along with Chaturanga Dandasana will tone all of the muscles in your abdomen, legs, arms and lower back. Finding stability in the core will keep your spine straight and entire body balanced.

Here are examples of two asanas that will directly get your core engaged and help you lose belly fat when practiced regularly:

Boat Pose (Naukasana)

Lie down on your back. Breathe in deeply and lift up your legs, arms, shoulders, head and trunk off the ground. Lift your sternum up and lean back slightly. Your arms need to be stretching forward and your legs can be either slightly bent or straight. Try to stay for 10-20 and repeat for 5 rounds.

Bow Pose (Dhanurasana)

Lie on your stomach and spread your knees hip-width apart. Grab the outside of your ankles with both hands. Breathing in, lift your chest and legs up and back. Continue to take deep breaths in this pose. With each inhale try to lift a little bit higher. After holding for 15-20 seconds, bring your chest and legs to the ground and relax.

Remember that creating a healthy lifestyle which includes eating healthy, getting the right amount of sleep and drinking enough water is just as important as the physical practice. Try to practice some of these postures mentioned and you will notice positive changes in your core and belly in no time.

After practicing yoga from very early age of 12, he decided to leave his family and friends behind to pursue the yogic path and meet his first Yoga Master - Narayan Muni at Jharsuguda Muni Samaj Yoga Ashram. It was here he took his first steps into the Himayalan Tradition. In 1988 he met his second Yoga Master - Swami Niranjan ji to learn the wisdom of the Vedas
